Carnage on Neyagawa - Virginia Opossum



This was a Virginia Opossum...killed on Neyagawa this summer.  
 

Among the 29 species of mammal found in the Sixteen Mile Creek Valley and Oakville-Milton Wetlands and Uplands ANSIs is the Virginia Opposum, considered rare in the Region of Halton, being known from five or less locations in the municipality.  Source:  MNR ANSI Report Appendices
